FAQs
We have listed the most common questions we receive and their answers
below for your convenience...
Is this acid free?
Acid free, lignin free, ph
buffered? A very big deal to scrappers. What most don't
think about is how and where you store your scrapbook.
The most damaging is heat, dampness, humidity and direct
sunlight. These books consist (mostly) of paper
products. The number one culprit is probably your hands.
There is probably more acid and oil on your hands than
in any product you are using. For newspaper articles
(scan or copy them) or use 'Archival Mist' (or a similar
product) to remove the acid. A great fix 'Hands Off!'
acid neutralizing hand lotion. One application keeps
hands acid free for up to two hours. Also works great
when embossing. It'll keep the powder from sticking
where your fingers were.
Why don't my 'Studio 2' (alcohol based pens)
blend very well on my cardstock?
The type of paper you are using
is probably the reason. For best results use 'matte
coat' paper for alcohol based pens (inks).
Why does my cardstock 'pill-up' when I'm
using a blender pen (or waterbrush)?
Once again it's the paper. Use
watercolor paper (Strathmore or 140# cold press) and
don't go over and over an area. Watercolor small areas
at a time and if need be - go over an area again only
once it has dried.
